How long does a new AC installation take?
Standard AC swaps complete in two to three days. Adding ductwork or a heat-pump conversion typically runs 3–5 days. You'll have AC running at the end of every workday.
Do you handle the permits?
Yes. We pull the city/county HVAC permit and schedule the required HERS test (CA Title-24). The cost is itemized on your quote.
What size AC do I need?
We never guess by square footage alone. We do a Manual J load calculation that factors insulation, window orientation, ceiling height, air leakage and occupancy. The right size is typically smaller than you'd expect.
What rebates apply to a new AC?
Heat-pump systems qualify for HEEHRA, TECH Clean California, LADWP, SCE, and the Federal 25C tax credit — stacking up to $8,000+ on income-eligible installs. Traditional AC qualifies for utility rebates. We'll calculate your stack at the consult.
